Helmets Up Warriors!!
Today I ran my first Warrior Dash and it was such a blast! One of the girls I ran with has really bad knee problems so we definitely took our time to complete all the obstacles - but in all honesty, that just made the fun last longer :) The official photos from the event will be posted online soon and I’m hoping they got a shot of me jumping over the fire obstacle!!

A Yearly Challenge
Moving in general is not one of my favorite activities – but moving everything by myself? My yearly nightmare – especially this year…
It took me about 3 hours to make the numerous trips from my fourth floor dorm to my little ford focus and it was absolutely exhausting. All I can think about is how much easier (and quicker) the entire process would be if I had the extra helping hands of my parents....

I Survived!

And I’m happy to say that this summer might be the first time that I’m not stressed about money. Even though I’m living in Atlanta and I’m going to be paying a hefty sum in rent, my hourly rate at Coke is more than sufficient!!

My Tumblr Buddy Really Outdid Herself This Time
I left the Student Learning Center at 2a.m. and I could hardly wait to pickup my package. Facing Defeat

I Called My Mom Back
She got a new job working at IHOP and Olive Garden, and she seems to be doing well. Apartment Success & Phone Call From Mom
I ended up leasing with WestMar Student Lofts because they were (by far) the cheapest place to lease in Atlanta. (I looked at student housing and it was ridiculous! If I wanted to live in Emory’s intern housing it would’ve been $27/day!) Now that I’ve figured out where I will be living, the internship feels so much more real! In a little over a month, I’ll be working at the Happiness Factory!...

Let the Apartment Search Begin!
Now that reality has finally sunk in (and all my hard work paid off), I’ve begun searching for nice, affordable housing options in the Atlanta area. The VP of Communications for Coca-Cola North America just called me to tell me the news. I can’t put into words how excited I am to be given this opportunity…my Friday COULD NOT get any better!!
No News is Good News
Since I didn’t hear back from Coca-Cola today, that means I’ll hear from them tomorrow for sure. Until then, I’m going to shamelessly go to bed at 8 p.m. because I’ve been going non-stop since this process began. Hopefully my Friday will begin with good news, but if not, it just wasn’t meant to be. Think positive thoughts everyone!

I Pulled an All-Nighter

The Rules: Stealing Quarters
Stan has a trailer on Cayuga Lake where my siblings and I spent our summers. It was about 30 minutes away from Auburn, the town where I used to live.
